From Film Exits to Fatherhood: Akhil Sachdeva Refocuses on Music

Composer and vocalist Akhil Sachdeva recounted how, within a single year, he was excluded from three to four major movie soundtracks at the last moment. The songs he had already prepared were shelved, prompting him to rethink his career path.

Rather than dwell on the missteps of producers, Sachdeva highlighted the importance of learning from every incident. He said, “If destiny writes mistakes for me, I will make them, learn from them, and move ahead.”

The artist also spoke about his decision to keep his creative base in Delhi, away from the bustling film corridors of Mumbai. “I work silently in my home studio and return to my personal life,” he explained, noting that he does not wish to be part of the constant hustle.

The birth of his daughter has been a turning point, bringing stability and fresh inspiration. Sachdeva now aims to create music that stays close to listeners’ hearts, focusing on quality rather than quantity.
