Agu Stanley Plans Comedy and Heroic Characters in Indian Cinema

Agu Stanley, the Nigerian influencer who captured Indian audiences on Alliance, is set on expanding his career in Indian cinema. He praised the positive response to his multilingual abilities, which include Hindi, Marathi, Bhojpuri and Gujarati.

Speaking with IANS, Agu said he wants to play both funny and strong heroic roles. “I consider myself a very funny person, so comic characters will suit me well, but I also want to be seen as a powerful hero on screen,” he explained.

He reminded the reporter that acting is not new to him. He has already worked on Anurag Kashyap’s "Bandar" and featured in Khushali Kumar’s "Dulhaniya Le Aayegi" and "Sing Geetm". The experience, he said, has deepened his love for performing.

Beyond the big screen, Agu is eager to take up television and OTT projects. He also mentioned interests in singing and sports, indicating a desire to diversify his portfolio across the entertainment spectrum.
