Actor Receives Gifted Books from Yatin Mishra’s Family in Ayodhya
While filming the opening schedule of "Shri Rambhoomi" in Ayodhya, veteran actor Anupam Kher visited the house of the late author‑lyricist Raja Bimalendra Mishra. He was welcomed by Mishra’s son, Yatin, and sister Manjari, who offered him a traditional meal and two signed copies of Mishra’s celebrated works.
Kher posted the meeting on Instagram, noting that the literary gifts brightened his day and that Manjari’s warm hospitality added a personal touch to the professional setting. He also reflected on an extended dialogue that covered topics ranging from the heritage of Ayodhya to the role of literature in shaping social narratives.
The film, under the direction of Kamakshi Narayan Singh, aims to depict the long‑standing struggle for the Ram Temple, featuring Kher as former VHP chief Ashok Singhal. Co‑actors Ritwik Bhowmick and Amrita Khanvilkar share screen space, and the movie is being produced by G Studios.
