At the meeting of the Jeevandeep Committee of the State Mental Hospital Sendari, the Divisional Commissioner gave instructions to take necessary action for setting up the drug de-addiction ward in the hospital. Presently, OPD is being conducted in the hospital every Thursday for the treatment of drug-addicted patients. In view of the present need, an initiative has been taken to create a drug addiction ward here. The Divisional Commissioner directed to keep the complaint box in the hospital systematically and also put up a board in this regard.
