

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will perform Bhoomipujan through video conferencing of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University to be built at a cost of Rs 55 crore in village Sankra of Patan development block in Durg district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also provide development and construction works worth 253 crore to the Durg district.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the Bhoomipujan of Mahatma Gandhi University in Patan, as well as a house built at the block headquarters at a cost of Rs. 5 crore 48 lakh for the stay of government officials and employees. Similarly, the construction work of the high-level bridge being constructed at Uphra to Raveli road in Kharun river at a cost of Rs 8 crore 35 lakh and the high-level bridge to be constructed at Khamharia Nala in Abhanpur-Tarrighat Patan road in Khamaria Nala and the cooperative bank There will also be inauguration-bhoomi pujan of works costing Rs 77 crore 28 lakh in the branch and patan.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate and perform bhoomi pujan for works costing Rs 138 crore 35 lakh in the fort. This includes beautification of the Thagda dam at a cost of Rs 13 crore 49 lakh, strengthening and beautification of the 8 km stretch from Nehru Chowk to Mini Mata Chowk at a cost of Rs 68 crore 16 lakh and a cost of Rs 56 crore 39 lakh from Pulgaon Naka to Anjora. From 6.50 km forelane construction work is included. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will unveil the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in Bhilai, as well as perform Bhumi Pujan and inaugurate 30 works in Bhilai Municipal Corporation area. Which includes the inauguration of Rs. 12 crore 22 lakh and the Bhoomi Poojan of Rs. 25 crore 74 lakh.
