  • “Surgical Strike On Poverty”: Rahul Gandhi After Rs. 6,000-A-Month Promise

    Congress president Rahul Gandhi promised a “surgical strike” on poverty a day after he announced the Rs. 6,000-a-month dole plan for India’s poorest families, if the party is voted to power. He also kept up his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government.

    “We will eradicate poverty in the country. This is a ”dhamaka (blast)”. No country has done this in history. There should not be a single poor person in the country,” Mr Gandhi said at acampaign rally in Rajasthan’s Suratgarh.

    Mr Gandhi said his party had been working on how to eradicate it for the last six months.

    Yesterday, Rahul Gandhi announced a minimum income guarantee scheme assuring Rs.72,000 a year for 20 per cent of the poorest in the country, if the Congress is voted to power in the April-May national election.

    Nyuntam Aay Yojana (NYAY) scheme, said the Congress chief, would lift five crore families or 25 crore people out of poverty.

    “If (Narendra) Modi gives money to the rich, the Congress will give money to the poor,” Rahul Gandhi said.

    The ruling BJP, however, has slammed the Congress scheme, with Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley calling it chhal-kapat (deceit) and bluff. “Congress has historically believed in political transactions in the name of removing poverty,” he said.

    Rahul Gandhi, who has repeatedly accused PM Modi of corruption and crony capitalism in the Rafale fighter jet deal, said,”He (the Prime Minister) says, ‘Main chowkidar hoon” (I am a watchman). He did not say whose chowkidar he is. Have you seen a chowkidar at a farmer”s home? Have you seen a chowkidar at home of the unemployed youth?” he said.

    “Have you seen a chowkidar at the home of Anil Ambani? How many are there at Anil Ambani’s home? There is a queue of chowkidars there. Narendra Modi did not tell you that he is not yours, but the chowkidar of people like Anil Ambani and Nirav Modi,” Rahul Gandhi said

    The government recently implemented the a scheme for farmers that promises Rs. 6,000 a year to small and marginal farmers. It aims at 12.5 crore beneficiaries.

  • Death of Ramchandra Gandhi and Gandhi dynasty

    I was shocked to hear the sad news of the death of Ramchandra Gandhi. I am not follower of his thoughts. But I am not less sad than his followers. I read news titled “ Ramchandra Gandhi wanted a debate on MSU painting row” in TOI. After that I am unable to control my mind my thoughts. These are totally without break. Physical body may be like a statue but mind may move with full speed. 
    Worship the mother of whom so everWas Gandhi wanted a debate on insulted animated film of Gandhi made by NRI? MF Hussain is moving in the world as an ambassador of so called secular government. His nude paintings of Bharatmata and others are the matter of discussion or the subject of freedom of expression! But if any one made the nude paintings of the female members of such secdulars then it should be called communalism! I do not insult the word of ‘mother’ to mention ‘mother’. So I mention female members. We should worship the mother of whom so ever. This is the culture of Hinduism. What is the culture of others; this should not be the subject of mine. This is not the death of Ramchandra Gandhi but it is a death of an intelligent philoshper, professor, writer in a country. Our conuntry is being influenced and governed by stupids, corrupts and opportununists with other disqualifications. These disqualications have become qualifications of them.

  • राहुल गांधी जी-20 के राजदूतों से मुलाकात की पर क्या पुलवामा हमले की चर्चा की?

    डोकलाम विवाद के समय राहुल गांधी गुपचुप तरीके से दो बार चीन के राजदूत से मिले। परंतु इस मिलाप को गुप्त रखा। उनकी इस बैठक में उन्होंने क्या चर्चा की यह भी न ही सरकार को बताया न ही मीडिया को और न ही जनता को।

    यही नहीं यही हाल उनकी कथित धार्मिक मानसरोवर यात्रा थी । उस यात्रा के समय वे चीन के मंत्री से मुलाकात की। क्या चर्चा हुई यह पब्लिक डोमेन में अभी तक नहीं है।

    अपनी इसी राजनीतिक कुटनीतिक जालसाजी को उन्होंने अब २० देशों के राजदूतों से मिलने पर दोहराया है।

    केंद्रीय मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने राहुल गांधी से सवाल पूछा कि उन्होंने जी 20 शिखर सम्मेलन के राजदूतों के सामने क्या विचार रखे हैं?

    यह आयोजन पहले 15 फरवरी के लिए तय किया गया था, लेकिन 14 फरवरी को जम्मू–कश्मीर के पुलवामा जिले में हुए नृशंस आतंकवादी हमले के मद्देनजर रद्द कर दिया गया था, जिसमें सीआरपीएफ के 40 जवान मारे गए थे।

    राहुल गांधी द्वारा जी 20 देशों के राजदूतों के साथ बैठक करने के एक दिन बाद, केंद्रीय मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने सवाल किया कि कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने हवाई हमले और राजदूतों को पुलवामा हमले के बारे में क्या बताया।

    क्या उन्होंने उन्हें देश, सरकार या कांग्रेस के दृष्टिकोण से अवगत कराया?

    उन्होंने कहा, ‘हर दिन वे हवाई हमलों पर सवाल उठा रहे हैं, उन्हें देश को समझाने की जरूरत है।Ó

    कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने बुधवार को जी 20 देशों के राजदूतों के लिए दोपहर के भोजन की मेजबानी की, जिसमें पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह और यूपीए प्रमुख सोनिया गांधी भी उपस्थित थे।

    कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व मंत्री आनंद शर्मा दोपहर के भोजन के लिए जी20 देशों के राजदूतों और प्रमुखों के साथ समन्वय कर रहे थे।

    बुधवार को ट्विटर पर राहुल गांधी ने जी -20 देशों और पड़ोसी देशों के राजनयिकों के साथ अपनी बैठक साझा की।

  • Editorial :- पूूरे पागल दुश्मन पाक से तो निपट लेेंगे पर आधे पागल जयचंदों से कैसे निपटे?

    पीएम मोदी ने कल मध्यप्रदेश के धार में कहा था कि पाकिस्तान अभी भी नहीं सुधरा तो उन्हें बता दिया गया है कि हम क्या करेंगे?  

    इस चेतावनी के बाद पाकिस्तान डर के मारे दिखाने के लिये ही सही पर मसूद अजहर के भाई समेत ४४ आतंकियों को हिरासत में लिया है। तथा पाकिस्तान स्थित सभी प्रतिबंधित संगठनों की संपत्ति भी जप्त करने का आदेश दिया है। घबराए पाकिस्तान ने एलओसी पर हलचल बढ़ाई है, अतिरिक्त सैन्य टैंको की तैनाती भी की है।  

    सर्जिकल स्ट्राईक और एयर स्ट्राईक करके हमने बता दिया है और हमारी इस आतंकविरोधी मुहिम में पूरे विश्व के देशों का साथ मिल रहा है। इस्लामिक या मुस्लिम बाहुल्य देशों से भी हमें समर्थन मिल रहा है। पाकिस्तान से तो हम निपट लेंगे अर्थात पूरे पागल को तो जैसे जेल में डाल दिया जाता है वैसे ही हम आतंकिस्तान को अपनी  गिरफ्त में ले लेंगे।

    समस्या तो यह है कि आधे पागलों का क्या किया जा सकता है? इसी प्रकार से ओसामा जी, हाफिज साहब, अफजल गुरू जी कहने वालों और  सर्जिकल स्ट्राईक जैसे ही एयर स्ट्राईक पर सबूत मांगने वाले जयचंदों का क्या किया जाये?  आधे पागलों को जेल में तो डाला नहीं जा सकता। हां आगरा के पागल खाने में या सुधार ग्रह में भेजा जा सकता है।

    ओसामा को ‘जीÓ और हाफिज को ‘साहबÓ क्यों कहते हैं दिग्विजय?

    अब सवाल उठता है कि क्या दिग्विजय सिंह को ‘दुर्घटनाÓ और ‘आतंकी घटनाÓ का शाब्दिक अर्थ नहीं मालूम या फिर उनसे कोई चूक हुई है। या उनके ट्वीटर अकाउंट को हैंडल करने वाली टीम से यह गलती हुई है। हालांकि, इस बीच दिग्विजय पुलवामा आतंकी हमले को ‘दुर्घटनाÓ बताने वाले अपने बयान पर कायम हैं और उनका कहना है कि किसी की हिम्मत है तो उन पर केस करे। कांग्रेस इस मामले को जबरन तूल देने का आरोप लगा रही है। जबकि भाजपा के कई बड़े नेताओं से लेकर खुद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इसे लेकर दिग्विजय पर हमलावर हो चुके हैं। ऐसा कतई नहीं है कि इस मामले में सिर्फ दिग्विजय सिंह की ही जुबान फिसली है, भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेता और यूपी के उपमुख्यमंत्री केशव प्रसाद मौर्य भी पुलवामा हमले को बड़ी ‘दुर्घटनाÓ बता चुके हैं।

    जनरल विके सिंह ने स्पष्ट कर दिया है किसे दुर्घटना कहते हैं और किसे आतंकवादी घटना।

    यदि पुलवामा में जेईएम के आत्मघाती दस्ते द्वारा हमारी सेना के ४० जवानों की शहादत हुई  यदि यह दिग्विजय सिंह जैसा कह रहे हैं वैसे दुर्घटना थी तो राजीव गांधी की हत्या भी क्या दुर्घटना थी आतंकवादी घटना नहीं।

    >> एयर स्ट्राईक के तुरंत बाद टीवी चैनल्स में यह बताया जा रहा था कि अजहर मसूद का भाई और अन्य कौन-कौन मरे, कितने मरे आदि।

    इसके अलावा यह भी टीवी चैनल में बताया जा रहा था कि पाकिस्तान वहॉ से सभी सबूतों को खून को मिटाने का प्रयास कर रहा है। लाशें भी गायब कर रहा है जिससे कि फॉरेन के मीडिया को बुलाकर दिखाया जा सके कि यहॉ बालाकोट में कोई भी आतंकी गतिविधियां नहीं होती हैं।

    एयर स्ट्राईक  के तुरंत बाद पाकिस्तान की संसद तक में इमरान खान के प्रति शेम शेम के नारे सांसद लगा रहे थे। वे कह रहे थे कि मोदी से बढ़़कर कोई भी हिन्दुस्तान का प्रधानमंत्री पाकिस्तान का दुश्मन नहीं रहा है।

    भारत में कांग्रेस तथा अन्य वंशवादी पार्टी के नेताओं को क्या हो गया है पता नहीं कोई सबूत मांग रहा है तो कोई लाशों की संख्या पूछता है। उनके  प्रोपोगेंडा करने वाले टीवी चैनल्स के द्वारा कहलवाया जा रहा है कि अमित शाह ने २५० की संख्या कैसे बताई?  उसके बाद से ही विपक्ष लाशों की संख्या पूछ रहा है।

    >> अरे भई! अमित शाह २५० बता रहे हैं तो वंशवादी विपक्षी पार्टियां कोई नहीं मरा, एक मरा दो मरा यह कह सकते हैं यह कहने के लिये उन्हें कौन रोकता है। जनता अपने आप समझ जायेगी कि कौन हिन्दुस्तान में ही छोटे -छोटे पाकिस्तान  पाल रहा है। यहॉ यह उल्लेखनीय है कि पश्चिमी बंगाल के टीएमसी के एक सांसद ने पाकिस्तान के प्रतिनिधिमंडल को बुलाकर एक स्थान विशेष ल ेजाकर कहा था कि देखो यह हमारे यहॉ का मिनी पाकिस्तान है

    सर्जिकल स्ट्राईक के बाद अमित शाह और भाजपा के नेता मिठाई खाये वितरित किये इस पर भी उन्हें आपत्ति हुई। आपत्ति करने वालों को कौन रोक रहा था मिठाई खाने और जश्र मनाने के लिये वो क्यों मुंह लटकाये रहते हैं।

    श्रीनगर लोकसभा सीट के चुनाव के दौरान स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा चुनाव कार्य में तैनात अद्धसैनिक बलों के साथ दुव्र्यवहार और उन पर पथराव के बाद एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ था .जिसमें मेजर गोगोई को चुनाव में तैनात सुरक्षा बलों की रक्षा के लिए एक स्थानीय नौजवान को जीप पर बांधकर ले जाते हुए दिखाया गया था. इस कारण से पत्थरबाज जीप में बंधे अपने साथी पर पत्थर नहीं फेंस सके थे।

    अतएव इसी प्रकार से यदि अगली बार एयरस्ट्राईक होने के समय सुखोई या मिराज-२१ में उन लोगों को बैठाकर पाकिस्तान ले जाया जाये जिससे कि वे वहॉ मरने वाले आतंकियों के शवों की गिनती कर सकें।

  • PM Modi Pays Tribute To Mahatma Gandhi, Talks Of Today’s Challenges

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today that terrorism and climate change are two biggest challenges mankind is facing now and Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings can help the world to address the pressing issues.

    Prime Minister Modi, who arrived in Seoul on a two-day visit to strengthen India’s strategic ties with South Korea, along with South Korean President Moon Jae-in and former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon unveiled a bust of Mahatma Gandhi at the prestigious Yonsei University.

    “It is a matter of great honour and my good fortune to unveil the bust of Mahatma Gandhi in Korea”s premier university today,” PM Modi said.

    “This occasion assumes greater significance since we are celebrating the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and for the world he is the foremost messiah,” he said.

    “Terrorism and climate change are two biggest challenges mankind is facing now,” he said and underlined that Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings can help the world address the pressing issues.

  • In Congress’s Question Paper For PM, Intel Failure In Pulwama, RDX Source

    The Congress today presented a list of five questions on last week’s terror attack at Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama and demanded a response from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The attack on February 14 — in which 40 CRPF personnel lost their lives when a suicide bomber of Jaish-e Mohammed drove an explosive-laden car into a 78-vehicle convoy —  came two days after the terror group uploaded a video online about a similar one in Afghanistan and warned about one in Kashmir.

    Investigators, off the record, have admitted that it was a case of intelligence failure. The Criminal Investigation Department of the state police had shared the video with the intelligence agencies but no action had been taken, sources had said.

    The Congress questioned why Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval have not accepted their responsibility for this massive intelligence failure. It also asked why the government ignored the threatening video released by Jaish-e Mohammed.

    The party questioned where local terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar and his accomplices managed to get hold of the enormous quantity of RDX used to cause the blast, and how the vehicle reached the convoy despite tight security.

    RDX – an explosive that terrorists so far sourced from Pakistan — has not been used in terror strikes in the country for nearly a decade. Investigators said the car that caused the explosion was carrying at least 20 kg of RDX. There have been no answers on how the RDX-filled car managed to reach the convoy despite the sanitised route and the presence of CRPF patrols.

    The Congress also questioned why the home ministry rejected the request of CRPF and the Border Security Forces’ request for moving paramilitary convoys by air. The subject has triggered much debate after reports that the home ministry had shot down a proposal to move the troops by air.

    Shifting the 2,500 men who were on the convoy to Srinagar had been delayed as the Jammu-Srinagar highway was blocked due to snow.

    After the attack, the ministry said shifting of paramilitary convoys would continue by road due to logistical reasons, but certain changes have been made in the procedure to strengthen security.

    The Congress also questioned why 488 soldiers lost their lives under the Narendra Modi government and why demonetisation has not managed to curb terror. The overnight scrapping of high denomination bank notes in November 2016 was aimed at stopping terror funding that is carried out through a shadow economy of counterfeit notes.

    The Congress attack comes a week after the terror strike. The party had suspended all political activity after the attack, saying it was time to support the affected families and show solidarity with the government.

  • Why BJP-AIADMK Impact Will be Limited in TN’s First Election Without Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi

    The BJP alliance with the AIADMK was on anticipated lines given the latter’s dependence on the Centre for the survival of its government in Tamil Nadu. This alliance was expected to be formalised despite serious reservations from a section within the AIADMK.

    Further, given that the DMK has allied itself firmly with the Congress and even taken the lead in projecting Rahul Gandhi as prime ministerial candidate, the AIADMK, which has been in turmoil since Jayalalithaa passed away in 2016, had to take the BJP. It does not have the stature that it had under Jayalalithaa who went alone in 2014 and won 37 of the state’s 39 Lok Sabha seats.

    Given that actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth has refused to enter the fray in 2019 and has declared that he will not support any side, it is now clear that the battle in Tamil Nadu will be a direct two-way fight between the AIADMK-BJP alliance and the DMK-Congress alliance.

    It must be pointed out that the other AIADMK faction, led by TTV Dinakaran who split from the parent party after the demise of Jayalalithaa, is unlikely to close ranks with the ruling faction. The dispute between the two factions is bitter and each would like to use the 2019 Lok sabha elections to establish their credibility as successors to Jayalalithaa.

    In this scenario, if the AIADMK vote is split down the middle, the going will be very difficult for the alliance it is part of. The BJP, by itself, has only a pocketed presence in the state, especially in Coimbatore in western and Kanyakumari in southern Tamil Nadu. However, it cannot win any of these seats on its own and needs the alliance vote base to transfer for a victory.

    In 2014, the BJP had forged an alliance with the PMK and MDMK and polled just 5.5% votes to win one seat, whereas the AIADMK went on its own to win 37 seats with a 44.3% vote. In fact, without an ally, the BJP has never won a seat in Tamil Nadu and its best performance in the state was four seats in the 1999 general elections when it was in an alliance with the DMK.

    In terms of the AIADMK, the BJP has gone into a general election twice before in an alliance with the Dravidian party. In 1998, it won three seats and the alliance included parties like the PMK. The alliance won 30 of the 39 seats in the state. However, the second time the BJP went with the AIADMK was in 2004, and the two-party alliance was routed 39-0 by the DMK-led alliance.

  • Process on to recruit more than 1300 Asst Professors: CM

    Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced on Friday that the State Government will carry out recruitment of 15,000 school teachers soon.

    He was speaking at the annual function of Government Digvijay College as a chief guest here.

    The Chief Minister said that the Government has already commenced the process to recruit more than 1300 assistant professors.

    He said that new avenues of employment are opening for the youth in the State. Baghel said that the State Government had also decided to promote setting up of Agri-based units. ‘Chhattisgarh is full of resources and the Government will make the right use of the resources for building a ‘New Chhattisgarh’,  the Chief Minister said. Baghel directed officials to immediately start the process for construction of a hostel in the college.

  • Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel calls interim union budget as ‘Jumla-bullet-express’

    Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel took to twitter describing interim union budget as a “Jumla bullet express”–a repeat of Jumla express before the 2014 lok sabha polls.

    “One lakh digital villages in next five years? First talk about how many smart cities were made in last five years and what about generating two crore employment for jobless people?”, Baghel asked demanded Modi government must first explain what they did to fulfil the promises made in 2014.

    Hours after Union minister Piyush Goyal announced Union budget in New Delhi, Bhupesh Baghel tweeted, “After 2014 Jumla-Express, its 2019 Jumla-bullet-Express. Desh ke har varg ki hawa udi hui hai aur Modi sarkar ‘Uri’ pe atki hui hai, (While all sections of society is suffering in this country, Modi government’s all attention is on Uri movie). What happened to the Rs 15 lakh promise which was supposed to be credited in accounts of citizens?”, he asked.

    In the two tweets chief minister also asked why wasn’t the Swaminathan report in favour of farmers released and implemented yet? According to a report of NSSO, the unemployment status in country is the highest in last 45 years.

  • GMR Aero Square: New hospitality way

    The GMR Group  on Thursday announced the introduction of ‘GMR Aero Square’ in the Hospitality District of Delhi International Airport Limited. In a unique concept for Indian airport, GMR Aero Square offers easy access to the commercial hubs of Aerocity from public places. It has been developed amid lawns and landscape leading to Terminal 3 of the IGIA.

    The Aero Square was unveiled on January 19 by Rajiv Nayan Choubey, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Today, ‘GMR Aero Square offers a very unique experience to all the Indians which is on par with any famous location overseas.”

    According to GMR officials, the Aero Square offers a unique pedestrian experiential walk and connects the Aerocity’s Airport Metro Express station to all the major Hotels and Offices with Aerocity’s Hospitality District through an experiential walkway. It not only connects all the buildings, but also provides a well-designed public space for everyone to enjoy. 

    It promotes an active lifestyle and enables access to open spaces, shaded areas for casual breakouts and many other amenities. The initiative aims to establish Aerocity as a vibrant tourist gateway and supports economic development while conserving the resources.
