A surprise inspection of Creative Bakers' manufacturing unit uncovered a series of critical hygiene failures. In addition to visible grime and insect activity, the audit team noted that perishable raw material was stored without any protection, and semi‑finished items were kept in rusty containers that had not been cleaned. The environment was further compromised by the presence of accumulated waste, obsolete inventory and disallowed ingredients. Structural deficiencies such as corroded equipment, flaking paint, moisture‑laden walls and broken floor tiles heightened the risk of cross‑contamination, prompting FSSAI to deem the facility non‑compliant with national food safety regulations.
