Silver also experienced a modest rally, gaining ₹280 to stand at ₹2,21,109 per kilogram. The highest price for the week was observed on October 5 evening at ₹2,24,157 per kilogram, while the lowest was on October 7 evening at ₹2,20,866 per kilogram.
IBJA disseminates price information twice a day – for the morning and evening sessions. Globally, gold prices hovered near $4,200 per ounce and silver around $60 per ounce.
Experts link the limited but positive price movement to persistent 5% bond yields, crude oil trading above $100 per barrel, and a resilient US dollar that continues to apply downward pressure on gold and silver.
