Even as El Niño curtails monsoon rains, Andhra Pradesh recorded a robust 10.7 percent growth in the second quarter of FY 2025‑26. Chief Minister Nayudu urged officials to scrutinise the latest data, identify gaps and implement corrective actions swiftly. He highlighted that the state’s GDP growth rose from 6.5 percent in 2023‑24 to 9.9 percent by FY 2025‑26, driven by a 13.5 percent jump in agriculture and double‑digit gains in industry and services. The administration also noted a 21 percent rise in GST collections, underscoring the impact of technology integration.
