SpaceX Plans Pacific Ocean Landing After Starship’s Orbital Test

Following the orbital segment, Starship will execute a series of maneuvers designed to bring the vehicle back to Earth safely. A de‑orbit burn will lower the spacecraft’s trajectory, after which it will re‑enter the atmosphere and aim for a precision splash‑down in a pre‑designated zone of the Pacific Ocean. The test also includes a full‑scale evaluation of the Super Heavy booster’s core stages, covering launch, stage separation, and the final landing burn. Successful recovery in the Mexican Bay area will mark a significant milestone for reusable launch technology.
