Silver Prices Climb to ₹2,41,201 per Kg on Rising Geopolitical Risks
Silver markets reacted strongly to growing global uncertainty, with the MCX December 4, 2026 contract trading at ₹2,41,201 per kilogram, up 0.91% from the prior close of ₹2,39,016. The contract opened at ₹2,40,009 and later recorded a low of ₹2,40,009 and a high of ₹2,41,724 during the session.
Gold also posted gains, opening at ₹1,53,362 per 10 grams and later reaching ₹1,54,025, a rise of 0.79%.
Internationally, silver’s spot price edged higher to about $67.50 per ounce, while gold hovered near $4,478 per ounce.
Analysts point to the intensifying US‑Iran standoff and climbing oil prices as key drivers of the metal rally, adding to inflation fears. Market watchers are awaiting this week’s US inflation data for clues on the Federal Reserve’s next move, a factor that will likely shape silver’s outlook.
