SIAM Reports Double‑Digit Growth in All Vehicle Categories for July

According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, July’s wholesale figures reflect double‑digit expansion across the board. Passenger cars recorded a 34.3% year‑on‑year rise, reaching 457,810 units.

Two‑wheelers posted a 22.6% increase, delivering 1,923,483 units. The three‑wheelers segment surged 33.4% to 92,560 units, with passenger carriers at 77,994 units and goods carriers at 12,896 units.

Director General Rajesh Menon noted that the momentum, which has been building for several months, is expected to continue through the upcoming festive period, supported by strong consumer sentiment.
