Service Exports Boost Net Income to $51.6bn in Early FY27

The RBI data indicate that net earnings from services surged to $51.6 billion in the April‑June quarter, up from $47.9 billion a year earlier. The increase was driven by higher exports in computer services, other business services and transportation. This growth helped offset a widening goods‑trade deficit, which fell to $86.1 billion from $88.9 billion in the comparable period of the previous fiscal year.
