Policy Push and Industry Demand Fuel Renewable Growth in India

The upcoming India Energy Storage Week (IESW) 2026, scheduled for July 8‑10 in New Delhi’s Yashobhoomi (ICC), will showcase the findings of the report. Over 200 exhibitors and 10,000 industry leaders will discuss policy barriers, state‑level reforms and corporate needs. Organisers highlight that Maharashtra’s new renewable‑energy and storage mandate, which requires storage for any project above 100 kW, and similar incentives in Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan are accelerating adoption across heavy industry, mining, power, electronics and environmental sectors.
