NCCF and NAFED roll out subsidised onions across outlets

Anis Joseph Chandra, Managing Director of NCCF, said that the organization’s retail centres, especially those near metro stations, have begun offering onions at the capped rate of 35 rupees per kilogram. The plan is to expand this network in the coming days so that more shoppers can access the low‑cost product. Both NCCF and NAFED are coordinating with central warehouses to ensure a steady supply without any shortage.
