Nationwide Call for Creative Mascot Designs for India Post
India Post is seeking fresh visual talent to craft its official mascot, a symbol that will communicate the organization’s values of reliability, service and innovation. The contest, hosted on the Innovate India MyGov platform, invites individuals to submit a distinctive mascot sketch, an appropriate name and a concise concept brief. Submissions are accepted from July 15 through August 15.
A total prize pool of ₹2 lakh will be split between design and naming categories. The design winners will receive cash awards of ₹75,000, ₹50,000 and ₹25,000, whereas the naming winners will obtain ₹25,000, ₹15,000 and ₹10,000 respectively. All awardees will be presented with certificates of recognition.
The selected mascot will serve as India Post’s official brand ambassador, appearing on marketing campaigns, philatelic products, public‑awareness programmes, exhibition stands and across the department’s digital and social‑media channels.
This creative push arrives as India Post reports an unprecedented turnover exceeding ₹4,000 crore in the first quarter of the 2026‑27 financial year, highlighting its expanding role in the Indian economy. The government urges designers, artists, students and other creative professionals to contribute their ideas and help shape the postal service’s visual future.
