The Adani Foundation has pledged fifteen crore rupees to augment the Mumbai Police vehicle fleet with one hundred new units, according to a declaration made by Pranav Adani on Monday. The move is targeted at reinforcing law‑enforcement capabilities and fortifying the city’s security framework.

Posting on X, Adani paid tribute to the police force, saying, “We salute the valiant officers in khaki who protect Mumbai around the clock.” He added that supporting the fleet was a matter of pride and privilege.

Mumbai Police officials praised the gesture, noting that the additional vehicles will enable quicker response times, better coverage of high‑risk zones, and enhanced welfare for officers who depend on reliable transport. The foundation’s representatives confirmed that the donation will be channelled directly to procurement, bypassing administrative delays.

During a visit to the police headquarters, Adani and senior police leaders discussed the specific types of vehicles required and the potential impact on crime‑prevention initiatives.
