Mahindra’s Utility and Commercial Vehicle Sales Jump 14% in September

Mahindra & Mahindra’s September sales data shows a 14% rise across both utility and commercial vehicle categories. The company sold 64,092 utility vehicles and 30,420 commercial units, compared with the same month last year. Light commercial vehicles under 2 tonnes surged 19% to 4,044 units, while the 2‑to‑3.5‑tonne segment grew 13% to 26,376 units. An electric three‑wheeler line also recorded a 26% increase, reaching 16,343 units. The firm’s automotive chief noted that the electric‑origin SUV launch has helped cross the 100,000‑unit billing benchmark, underscoring the brand’s shift toward electrification.
