Green Manufacturing Drive: Maharashtra Plans 200,000 Ton PLA Capacity by 2031

Under the 2026‑2031 horizon, Maharashtra will scale bio‑polymer output to 200,000 tonnes of PLA annually, leveraging sugarcane, corn and rice‑straw feedstock and establishing integrated clusters with testing labs and certification services.
