Following a dramatic mid‑air breakup of the Long March 7A rocket, Chinese authorities have opened a formal probe to determine why the vehicle failed just over a minute into its flight. The launch, which took place from the coastal Wenchang site on Hainan, ended in an explosion that obliterated the Zhongxing‑4B communication satellite onboard.
