Indian delegation to hold round‑table meetings in US cities before Toronto stop

Following the San Francisco welcome, the Gujarat team will travel to Washington, D.C., and New York for a series of round‑table conferences and one‑on‑one meetings with industry associations, venture capital firms and technology incubators. The agenda focuses on presenting Gujarat’s emerging tech ecosystem, renewable energy projects and advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Key participants include the additional chief secretary for industry, senior officials from the energy department and senior business leaders from the 22‑company cohort. Topics will range from policy incentives for green hydrogen production to collaborative research in pharmaceuticals and digital services.

The U.S. engagements are scheduled to conclude before the delegation moves north to Toronto, where additional discussions with Canadian investors are planned. The comprehensive North‑American tour is intended to map out a pipeline of foreign direct investment that can be channeled into Gujarat’s development plans ahead of the 2027 global summit.
