India Taxi’s Cooperative Model Powers 8.48 Lakh Drivers and Daily Ride Surge

The India Taxi platform, built on a cooperative framework, records 848,000 driver partners and 4,427,000 registered passengers. Data shared in Parliament on August 12 indicates an average daily ride volume of 11,106. Union Minister Amit Shah highlighted that the collective earnings of the Saarthis have crossed 8,370 crore rupees. Official launches have taken place in Delhi‑NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, with further expansion governed by operational preparedness and statutory approvals.
