India‑Oman Trade Deal Enables Punjab Lychee Shipment, Says Trade Minister

The shipment follows the India‑Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, which provides preferential access for Indian agricultural products. The minister described the initiative as a catalyst for better farmer remuneration, a push for higher volumes of agri‑exports, and a milestone in cementing Indian produce’s presence on the world stage. He also lauded the Export Development Authority for its role in achieving this breakthrough.
