Global commodity markets displayed upward trends for both gold and silver. In overseas trading, gold rose 0.46 % to $4,181 per ounce, while silver advanced 2.12 % to $61.70 an ounce. Domestic prices in India mirrored this mixed scenario, with gold edging lower and silver edging higher. Analysts note that upcoming U.S. PMI, FOMC minutes and consumer‑sentiment data could limit gold’s movement, keeping it roughly between ₹1,48,000 and ₹1,52,500 per 10 g.
