Key agenda of Geneva meeting includes UN consumer product safety principles

A highlight of the session will be the formal launch of the United Nations Consumer Product Safety Principles, adopted by the General Assembly in December 2025. A high‑level fireside chat titled “Why the Principles Matter” will feature Indian officials among other global leaders. Delegates will also examine the effective implementation of the UN Guidelines for Consumer Protection (UNGCP) across member nations.
