Global factors continued to weigh on sentiment. Brent crude stayed above $103 a barrel after renewed Middle‑East tensions revived a supply‑risk premium. Analysts warned that elevated oil prices and stubbornly high U.S. 10‑year Treasury yields could keep foreign institutional investors (FIIs) on the sell side, especially in large‑cap stocks. In the previous day, FIIs off‑loaded shares worth ₹12,943 crore, while domestic institutions bought ₹10,703 crore, leaving a net outflow of ₹2,240 crore for the day. Cumulatively, foreign investors have withdrawn ₹36,210 crore from Indian equities this month.
