The five‑day rally has lifted gold by more than ₹8,600 since the end of July. Starting from a closing price of ₹143,376 on July 31, the metal climbed to ₹151,985 by the previous Friday and further to ₹152,870 on Monday. This rapid appreciation reflects both domestic buying pressure and a supportive global backdrop.
Analysts note that the sustained buying across jewellery and investment segments, combined with a long‑build position in the market, could keep the metal resilient even if short‑term fluctuations occur.
