On 1 July, government‑owned oil marketing firms announced a cut in commercial LPG pricing. Delhi’s 19‑kg commercial cylinder now costs ₹2,930, down ₹183.50 from its previous ₹3,113.50 level. The price relief was also reflected in Lucknow (₹3,052.50), Kolkata (₹3,081.50) and Patna (₹3,227).
This marks the first instance of a price decline for commercial LPG in 2026. In contrast, the household LPG price in the capital remains fixed at ₹942 per 14‑kg cylinder, after modest hikes of ₹60 on 7 March and ₹29 on 7 June.
The commercial LPG price had risen steadily since December 2025, when it was ₹1,580.50, climbing each month to reach a peak of ₹3,113.50 on 1 June before today’s reduction.
