Chennai – A new tender has been released by the Tamil Nadu government to secure a consultancy firm that will conduct a detailed feasibility analysis and provide transaction advisory services for two upcoming urban projects. The initiatives comprise a ₹130 crore commercial complex in Tanjavur and a ₹90 crore bus‑stand redevelopment in Thuthukudi’s Polpettai area.
The consultancy will be tasked with preparing a full feasibility report, assessing the practicality of implementing the schemes through a public‑private partnership, and outlining the financial structure required for successful execution. The contract value is fixed at ₹5 million, and bidders must submit a security deposit of ₹50,000.
The submission deadline is set for 15 October at 11 a.m., with the bid opening slated for 12:30 p.m. the same day. In addition to the feasibility study, the consultant will advise municipal authorities on PPP guidelines, help identify suitable private developers, and support the overall project implementation roadmap.
