Agricultural products were the star performers in June. Favorable base effects and a healthy global appetite pushed rice, meat, dairy, poultry and seafood exports higher than a year earlier.
In addition to traditional staples, the "other cereals" segment exploded with a 244.2 percent increase, underscoring India's growing diversification in food exports.
Chemical exports, both organic and inorganic, rose 19.4 percent, while electronic items climbed 18.9 percent and pharmaceuticals added a 7.1 percent gain, collectively supporting the overall export momentum.
