Early this year, leaked patent images of a TVS electric motorcycle sparked speculation about an electric version of the TVS Apache. Recently, TVS celebrated 20 years of the Apache series in India, launching special editions of the Apache RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 200 4V, RTR 310, and RR 310. The company has hinted at the possibility of an electric Apache, emphasizing that its launch hinges on customer demand.
TVS stated that if there’s sufficient demand for an electric Apache, the company will launch it. However, details regarding the project or development plans haven’t been disclosed. TVS has already pioneered electric racing in the country with the TVS Apache E-Racing initiative, which the company views as a step towards electric mobility for the Apache series. Regarding the timeline for the electric Apache, the company stated it will build what customers desire.
