Several new cars have already launched in the Indian market in the first eight months of 2025, but the year isn’t over, meaning automakers may launch more exciting cars. New models might be launched during or before the festive season to boost sales. Auto companies like Hyundai, Renault, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Vinfast are ready to make a splash with their new models in 2025.
**Renault Kiger Facelift**
The Kiger Compact SUV facelift is expected to launch on August 24, 2025, almost four years after its initial launch. It will be introduced to customers with a new design and features, but the engine is not expected to undergo any changes, meaning it may retain the 1.0-liter petrol engine.
**Maruti Escudo**
Maruti Suzuki is also gearing up to compete with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, with the launch of the new 5-seater SUV Escudo on September 3, 2025. This car will be sold through the company’s Arena showrooms after launch and will be largely based on the Grand Vitara. A CNG variant of this SUV is also expected.
**New Gen Hyundai Venue**
The next-generation model of the Hyundai Venue will be launched on October 24, 2025. It has been spotted several times during testing. It will include many features similar to the Creta, along with a new design and interior.
**Vinfast VF6 and VF7**
Vinfast, a Vietnamese company, may soon launch two new electric SUVs in India for customers. Bookings for the VF6 and VF7 have already begun while the company is preparing this car locally at a factory in Tamil Nadu. The VINFAST VF7 might be launched with a 70.8kWh battery, offering a range of over 400 kilometers on a single charge, while the VINFAST VF6 electric SUV is expected to be equipped with a 59.6kWh battery and may also offer a range of over 400 kilometers.
**Tata Punch Facelift**
The Tata Punch has been one of the company’s most successful models in recent years, and its updated version is expected to launch by the end of this year. The 2025 Tata Punch facelift may be inspired by the Punch EV in terms of style and features. No engine changes are expected, meaning that even if this car gets a facelift, it will still have a 1.2-liter petrol engine.
