Royal Enfield’s upcoming electric motorcycles, including the Flying Flea, have been undergoing rigorous testing in Ladakh. Images circulating online show the Flying Flea alongside the Himalayan E, both subjected to extreme cold weather conditions to evaluate battery performance. The C6 and F6 test mules, which were showcased at EICMA a year ago, are being put through their paces in India for the first time.
The C6 appears similar to the Flying Flea concept previously unveiled, while the F6 adopts a scrambler aesthetic. The F6 features high-set handlebars, an off-set instrument cluster, and a high fender. Both bikes are built on the new L Platform. A key difference lies in the use of off-road tires with spoke wheels. Designed to be lightweight and compact, these electric bikes are aimed at urban environments.
While specific battery specifications remain undisclosed, Royal Enfield promises engaging performance and premium build quality. The Flying Flea is anticipated to launch in early 2026, with the C6 potentially being released first. Although initially targeted at international markets, these premium motorcycles will also be available in India, with pricing expected to fall between the 450CC and 650CC model ranges.
