Royal Enfield is expanding its lineup with a focus on electric models, including the upcoming Flying Flea and now, the E-Himalayan. Recent sightings in Ladakh confirm that the electric version of the Himalayan is undergoing testing. The E-Himalayan was previously showcased at the 2023 EICMA show in Milan, alongside the Flying Flea. The observed test models appear to be near production-ready. The E-Himalayan features a new seat extending towards the tank, with battery units positioned where the engine would typically reside. Notable features include a large tank likely serving as an air duct, an Ohlins Monoshock at the rear, and Nissin petal disc brakes. The bike incorporates a custom aluminum frame and subframe, and the ECU Master display is positioned high on the dashboard. Royal Enfield has not yet announced a launch date for the electric Himalayan.
