Hyundai has officially launched the second-generation Venue compact SUV and its sportier Venue N Line variant in India. Positioned as a significant upgrade, the new Venue aims to redefine style, technology, and performance within its segment. This launch introduces a host of enhancements designed to solidify the Venue’s market leadership.
The exterior design of the new Venue and Venue N Line boasts a bolder, more contemporary aesthetic. A prominent rectangular grille with dark chrome inserts and quad-beam LED headlamps creates a commanding presence. Unique C-shaped DRLs and a connected light bar at the top contribute to a premium look. The side profile is enhanced by new 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome door handles, while the rear features connected taillamps and a distinctive 3D Venue logo.
Inside, the cabin receives a complete overhaul with a sophisticated dual-tone dark navy and dove white theme. The centerpiece is the striking twin 12.3-inch curved displays dominating the dashboard, complemented by a new terrazzo texture. Rear passenger comfort is improved with a 20mm longer wheelbase, rear AC vents, sunshades, and reclining seats, making it ideal for longer journeys.
A major highlight is the introduction of Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) in the new Venue and Venue N Line, significantly enhancing safety and driver convenience. Alongside this, standard safety features include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality.
Convenience is further elevated with features like wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a voice-assisted sunroof, ventilated seats, and ambient lighting.
Under the hood, the new Venue offers three engine choices: a 1.2L petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. Notably, the diesel engine now offers an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. The performance-oriented Venue N Line is exclusively powered by the 1.0L turbo petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT.
The new Hyundai Venue starts at a competitive ex-showroom price of Rs 7,89,000, presenting a compelling value proposition in the Indian compact SUV market.
