Kia is preparing to refresh the Seltos, following the launch of the Carens Clavis. Spy shots of the new Seltos facelift have surfaced, showcasing design changes. The test vehicles, spotted in India, were heavily camouflaged, but new headlights and front fascia modifications are visible. The Seltos facelift is expected to arrive early next year.
Exterior changes include design cues from the EV9 and Syros, with an extended wheelbase. A concave grill between the headlights and new fog light housings are notable. The rear is also expected to receive a redesign, potentially including a continuous bar light. Interior updates are also anticipated, with styling elements inspired by other Kia models.
The engine options are likely to remain similar to the current model, including a 115Hp 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 160Hp 1.5-liter turbo petrol, and a 116Hp 1.5-liter diesel engine. A new hybrid powertrain is also a possibility, potentially using the 1.5-liter NA petrol engine. The Seltos will continue to compete with vehicles like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Tata Curvv.
