The Jeep Grand Cherokee Signature Edition has been launched in India, representing a limited-edition upgrade to Jeep’s flagship SUV. This special edition boasts enhanced features compared to the Grand Cherokee Limited (O) variant, with a price increase reflecting the added premium.
Key premium features include motorized side steps for easier entry and exit, enhancing convenience for passengers. Rear passengers benefit from twin 11.6-inch Android-based infotainment touchscreens, complete with built-in speakers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AUX compatibility. The Signature Edition also incorporates integrated front and rear dash cams for added safety and recording capabilities.
Under the hood, the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, producing 272 horsepower and 400 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which distributes power to all four wheels via Jeep’s four-wheel-drive system.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee competes with other luxury SUVs, including the Volvo XC90, Range Rover Velar, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7, and BMW X5. It’s worth noting that some of these competitors offer seating for up to seven passengers, unlike the Grand Cherokee’s seating configuration.
