With the implementation of GST 2.0 on September 22nd coinciding with the Navaratri festival, this year’s celebrations promise to be even more special. GST 2.0 reforms are set to make popular SUV models like the Honda Elevate, MG Hector, and Kia Seltos more affordable. This article details the savings available on various SUVs.
Honda Elevate:
Honda Cars India is offering discounts on its entire range during the festive season, with the Elevate SUV receiving the most significant reductions. The ZX trim sees discounts up to ₹1.22 lakh. The VX trim gets a festive discount of ₹78,000, while the V trim offers benefits up to ₹58,000. The base SV trim is excluded from this list. Post-GST 2.0, the Honda Elevate’s price has decreased by up to ₹57,500.
MG Hector:
MG Motor India has announced offers on select variants of the Hector and Astor SUVs. The MG Hector Sharp Pro MT, a high-spec variant, is now available with profits up to ₹1.88 lakh. This includes a GST benefit of up to ₹1.49 lakh, reducing the ex-showroom price from ₹21.13 lakh to ₹18.99 lakh.
Kia Seltos:
Kia is offering discounts on selected models in its portfolio, with the Seltos receiving the most significant savings on its ex-showroom price, up to ₹1.75 lakh. This limited offer includes pre-GST benefits up to ₹58,000 and festive season benefits up to ₹1.17 lakh, lowering the SUV’s ex-showroom price from ₹11.18 lakh to ₹9.43 lakh.
Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo:
Mahindra has announced GST benefits across its entire SUV lineup, in addition to festive season discounts. The Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo benefit from discounts up to ₹2.56 lakh. These include a GST saving of ₹1.27 lakh on the ex-showroom price, along with benefits of up to ₹1.29 lakh. The Bolero range now starts from ₹8.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
