Farming in C’garh to be linked to MGNREGS: CM

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday said the State Government will link development of farming sector in Chhattisgarh with Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). Addressing the 8th Indian Horticultural Congress at the Indira Gandhi Agriculture University (IGAU) here, the Chief Minister said that during the upcoming Gram Sabhas on January 26, the grazing ground for cattle must be identified. He said that the Agriculture Production Commssioner had been directed to organise Gram Sabhas in co-ordination with Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
