Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded warm welcome by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at Swami Vivekananda Airport here on Tuesday.
This was Prime Minister’s first visit to Chhattisgarh after formation of Congress government in the State.
Modi congratulated the Chief Minister for constituting and leading the new Government in the State. The Prime Minister then left for Balangir (Odisha) by Indian Air Force helicopter at 9.09 am.
Former Chief Minister Raman Singh, Rajya Sabha member Ramvichar Netam, Leader of Opposition Dharamalal Kaushik and other BJP leaders were also present.
