Ruling party leaders’ wait for getting a post of chairperson in boards and corporations is not going to over soon as Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday indicated that the party high command is not going to take a call on the matter immediately.
Talking to media persons here at Swami Vivekanand Airport, Mana before leavening for the national capital, the Chief Minister refuted that his tour to New Delhi was to finalize the list of chairpersons of boards and corporations.
He also clarified that the list that was doing the rounds was speculative, bereft of any truth.
“Our PCC chief has just taken charge and he is now on a statewide tour to know the organisation closely. We will discuss the issue with him after the completion of his tour,” the CM said.
“Similarly, a new national president of the party is yet to be nominated and so at this moment there is no possibility of declaring the list (of chairpersons),” he added.
The list would be finalized after the deliberations with the PCC chief and it would be announced after a final approval from the high command, he said.
