He urged the Prime Minister to give approval for taking the rice in central pool besides the requirement of the public system in view of the interests of the farmers. Regarding the plan to provide drinking water through the tap connection in every household of the state, the Chief Minister urged that for this, cent percent grant should be given to the Central Government. He said that in the same manner as efforts have been made at the national level for hundred percent electrification, efforts need to be made for the provision of drinking water in every home.
 Referring to the recognition of forest rights during the meeting, the Chief Minister told the Prime Minister that there are many flaws in the proposed amendments in the Indian Forest Act, 1927, so that the interests of tribals residing in the forest areas have not been preserved and they emphasized the amendment. Therefore, supply of 5-kg gas cylinder should be supplied by all the companies in the state to ensure the use of LPG under the purchasing capacity of BPL family.
 
During the meeting, he requested that the amount of Rs 500 per tonne premium should be given at the place of 100 rupees per tonne in allocated mines for the government undertakings and the Chhattisgarh state should be given a share of the power produced.
