Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria arrived as the chief guest in the training and exhibition program under the District Level Organic Agriculture Fair cum Soil Health Card (NAMSA) scheme organized at Chandkhuri here today. He said that Agriculture Department is one of the most important departments of the government, every person is associated with agriculture in some way or the other. He also told about the schemes of the state government being run for the interests of the farmer and said that the government is fulfilling its promise. Minister Dr. Dahria waived the farmers’ loan, half the electricity bill, bought paddy on support price, Suraji village Describing about other schemes including Narva Garva Ghurva Bari, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Bhumiless Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, he said that our government is a farmer-friendly government, standing every moment for the benefit of farmers. People are being linked to employment and self-employment through various government schemes, due to which they are moving towards economic prosperity and there is a positive improvement in the standard of living of all. He said that there is Kaushalya Mata temple in Chandkhuri which is the only temple in the whole world. Chandkhuri is developing as a tourist hub. He also visited the stalls of various departments put up in Gauthan. He said that the government schemes should be widely publicized, so that the common people can get information about the schemes and they can take benefits under that scheme. Dahria also distributed checks and materials to the beneficiaries of Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department, Fisheries Department. On this occasion, he also distributed check of ten thousand rupees, ice box, trap and vermi packets of 30 kg and 5 kg to the beneficiaries. Shri Raju Sharma, President of Arang Janpad Panchayat Shri Khileshwar Devangan, District Panchayat member Smt. Lalita Krishna Verma, President of Nagar Panchayat Chandkhuri Shri Ravi Shankar Dhivar, officers-employees of the concerned department and a large number of farmers and villagers were present.
