Important schemes of the state government were reviewed in the commissioner-collector conference

Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain reviewed the important schemes of the government in detail through video conferencing with all the divisional commissioners and collectors of the state from Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan here today. In the meeting, lifting of paddy from paddy procurement centers, custom milling of rice, distribution of fortified rice, change of crop rotation, toilets in schools, solid waste management, nutrition, land management in urban areas, settlement of revenue cases, at the time of public service guarantee- The issue of border, making ration cards in urban bodies, Jal-Jeevan Mission and other important schemes were reviewed. Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Subrata Sahu and Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department Mrs. Renu Ji Pillay were also present on the occasion. The Chief Secretary has instructed the officers to deposit good quality rice after custom milling. Along with this, he also talked about motivating the millers for this. In the meeting, instructions were given to the collectors to work by making farmer wise plan in the districts under the change of crop rotation. For this, farmers have been asked to ensure that fertilizers, seeds and other assistance are received on time. Instructions were given to distribute vermi compost made in Gauthans through cooperative societies. While reviewing the works of Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, instructed to expedite the construction of the remaining toilets including giving the amount of individual toilets to the beneficiaries. Diagnosis of Solid Waste Management NGT Instructions have been given to the officers to do as per the instructions. In the meeting, instructions have been given to the Revenue Secretary to conduct workshops for the revenue officers for the settlement and allotment of land in the urban bodies. The divisional commissioners have been directed to inspect the revenue courts in the tehsils and discuss with the advocates and common people there. In the meeting, Secretary Agriculture, School Education Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Food Secretary Mr. Topeshwar Verma, Secretary Scheduled Castes Development Department Mr. DD Singh, Secretary Revenue N.N. Ekka, Secretary Urban Administration Smt. Alarmel Mangai D., Secretary Women & Child Development Shri Bhuvnesh Yadav, Managing Director Civil Supplies Corporation Shri Niranjan Das, Managing Director Markfed Ms. Kiran Kaushal and senior officers of other departments were present.
