Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain has instructed the secretaries of the departments of the state government that the officers should be present with the information of their department during the upcoming assembly session. Study the issues of your department in the Vidhan Sabha thoroughly and compulsorily give the information to be presented in the Vidhan Sabha to the Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department. The Chief Secretary said that a copy of the information should be sent to the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary’s office. The Chief Secretary reviewed the preparations for the upcoming session of the Vidhan Sabha at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan here today. He has instructed the officers to make full preparations for the questions of calling attention, adjournment, question hour, zero hour etc. of their department. The Parliamentary Affairs Department has also been asked to provide information in this regard. The officers whose duty has been imposed in the Vidhan Sabha should be present with the necessary information on the scheduled dates. Leave should not be allowed during the assembly session. In the meeting, Secretaries of various departments including Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subrata Sahu, Principal Secretary Mr. Alok Shukla and Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua attended the meeting through video conferencing.
