Mobile medical unit making more than one lakh patients healthy every month

Every poor and needy person wants that when he falls ill, he does not have to wander for his treatment. Everyone wants to avoid stopping their business for minor ailments, taking appointments with doctors and waiting in queues to get treatment. Keeping in mind the needs of the people, the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme started in Chhattisgarh is now not only fulfilling these objectives and goals. Rather, by setting up camps in their own locality, people have started getting a lot of convenience in their treatment. With the expansion in health facilities, it is the result of the steps taken by the Chhattisgarh government to make the poor healthy by quick treatment. Under the Mukhyamantri Urban Slum Health Scheme, it is winning the hearts of poor families. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, more than 15 lakh patients have been treated so far through this scheme started in 14 municipal corporations of the state on November 1, 2020. If we look at the number of camps organized under Mobile Medical Unit and the number of people receiving health benefits, then every month more than one lakh patients are getting healthy through Mobile Medical Unit. Benefits to the poor in urban areas including Raipur, 14 lakh 31 thousand 383 patients have been benefited in 20 thousand 500 camps under 60 Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme started in 14 municipal corporations of the state on November 1, 2020. Wherein 77017 patients have been treated in 1014 camps under Dai Didi Clinic. So far more than 15 lakh patients have got health benefits from Mobile Medical Unit. This scheme is like a relief for the poor people living in slums in urban areas. In Raipur, 3 lakh 46 thousand 385 patients have been benefited in maximum 5301 camps and medicines have been distributed to 310793 patients. 120865 patients have been benefited in 1411 camps in Bilaspur, 100791 in 1419 camps in Durg, 184292 in 2540 camps in Korba, and 114025 patients in 1415 camps in Rajnandgaon. Similarly, 83133 in 1065 camps in Bhilai, 51148 in 712 camps in Risali, 44842 in 703 camps in Bhilai Charoda, 95094 in 1297 camps in Ambikapur, 75191 in 1368 camps in Jagdalpur, 86235 in 1323 camps in Raigarh, 29161 in 608 camps in Korea Chirmiri 41565 patients have been benefited in 672 camps in Birgaon. In the Dai-Didi clinic, 77017 women have been benefited in 1014 camps. Medicines were distributed to 11 lakh 91 thousand 826. Medicines have been distributed to 11 lakh 91 thousand 826 patients in 14 months under the Chief Minister’s Urban Slum Health Scheme. Maximum 3 lakh 10 thousand 793 in Raipur, 116162 in Bilaspur, 1112128 in Korba, 76844 in Bhilai, 87887 in Durg, 105654 in Rajnandgaon, 82123 in Raigarh, 62431 in Ambikapur, 33246 in Birgaon, 40403 in Risali, 37506 in Bhilai Charoda, Medicines have been distributed to 62159 patients in Chirmiri, 19813, Jagdalpur. The financial burden of poor families is also being reduced by getting free medicines in the camp. Lab test of 2 lakh 68 thousand done. Lab test of about 2 lakh 68 thousand 50 patients has also been done in 20500 camps through Mobile Medical Unit. Most of the patients of Raipur urban area were tested for lab. 71285 in Raipur, 12940 in Bilaspur, 25456 in Korba, 21649 in Ambikapur, 16489 in Durg, 14537 in Bhilai and 23836 in Rajnandgaon, 16021 in Raigarh, 15062 in Jagdalpur, 10404 patients have been lab tested in Birgaon. About 41 types of test facilities are available in the mobile medical unit. Health benefits to 70 patients per MMU. Through the mobile medical unit, treatment and health check-up is done by setting up camps in the slum areas. The number of people coming to the camp for their treatment is also increasing continuously. If we look at the average of the patients receiving health benefits in the camp organized so far, 70 patients are getting its benefit per MMU. Through Dai-Didi clinics, 76 women are getting health benefits per MMU. Under the Chief Minister’s Slum Health Scheme, Dai-Didi Clinic is the first such innovative scheme in the country in which women doctors and other staff are women.
