Chief Minister pays tribute to Amar Shaheed Gaind Singh on his martyrdom day

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has paid homage to Amar Shaheed Gaind Singh, who sacrificed his life for independence in Chhattisgarh, on his martyrdom day on January 20. Recalling Amar Shaheed Gaind Singh, who raised the trumpet of independence in Chhattisgarh, Shri Baghel said that he had raised his voice against the slavery and exploitation of the British long before the first freedom struggle of the country in 1857. Zamindar Gaind Singh, who fought for the rights of the Abujhmadia brothers and sisters of Bastar, was hanged on January 20, 1825, in front of the palace of Paralkot. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that Shaheed Gaind Singh, who lit the torch of revolution in Abujhmad, Bastar, is remembered with pride and honor on his death anniversary.
