In the current season of procurement of paddy on support price in Chhattisgarh, 68 lakh 38 thousand metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased from 17 lakh 03 thousand 319 farmers till this evening in 2484 paddy procurement centers of the state. So far, 65.12 percent of the estimated target of paddy procurement by the state government has been procured. According to the information received from the Food Department till January 12, on support price 1,14,053 MT in Bastar district, 46,873 MT in Bijapur district, 10,665 MT in Dantewada district, 2,13,751 MT in Kanker district, 1 in Kondagaon district. 05,817 MT, Narayanpur district 16,174 MT, Sukma district 30,180 MT, Bilaspur district 3,61,851 MT, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district 47,010 MT, Korba district 1,02,721 MT, Mungeli district 2,85,618 MT, Raigad district 3,86,058 MT, Balod district 3,78,645 MT paddy was procured.
