4.71 crore approved for the improvement of Chanan diversion

Administrative approval of Rs 4 crore 71 lakh 3 thousand has been given to Chief Engineer Hasdeo Ganga Cachar Ambikapur for the improvement work of Chanan Diversion Scheme under Balrampur development block of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district by the Ministry of Water Resources Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. With the improvement of this diversion, it will be able to meet the shortfall in its irrigation potential in 605 hectares as well as supply water for irrigation to a total of 1012 hectares.
