In the T20 Challenger Trophy (Hop Cup) for Physically Challenged 2021 organized by the Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India (PCCAI), the only orthopedically challenged player from Chhattisgarh, Mr. Wilson Jatwar has been selected as a batsman. Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia has congratulated Mr. Wilson and wished him a bright future. T20 Challenger Trophy cricket competition will be organized from 28 to 31 December at Tau Devi Lal Cricket Stadium, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Punjab. Teams from four zones of the country will play in the T20 Challenger Trophy organized for the disabled. In which Mr. Wilson will play from East Zone. Out of these, the player with outstanding performance will be selected for the Indian team of Divyangjan. He attracted the attention of the selectors by doing his best in Varanasi while playing cricket with ordinary kids. For the encouragement and excellent performance of Mr. Wilson Jatwar, cricket kit has been provided by the district administration, in which he has been given a tracksuit with bat, ball, pad, helmet, shoe. Mr. Wilson told that he has 40 percent disability in his foot, which makes it difficult for him to play, but he is moving forward with passion and enthusiasm. He has participated in cricket competitions in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra including Chhattisgarh. His dream is to illuminate the name of Chhattisgarh with good performance.
